Can you leave above ground pool up over winter. Tired of wrestling with it in the spring and fall and was wondering if it would be safe to leave it up all winter. If you live in an area with freeze and thaw conditions then leaving your pool empty for the winter will almost certainly cause damage to the interior surface. The answer is always no. However you must winterize the pool when keeping it full throughout the winter. You are better off to winterize the pool but leave water in the pool to protect it.
